The Multnomah County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden participates in dry farming trials, coordinated by the OSU Dry Farm Collaborative and in partnership with the OSU Extension Service Master Gardener Program.  Dry farming is crop production without irrigation during a dry season and utilizes the moisture stored in the soil from the rainy season.
